Manufacturing Process


We use the latest technique in manufacturing our genuine quality products. The procedure involved in production of our products is given below:-

    Procedure for Panel Fabrication, Powder Coating & Assembly

  • Procurement of deep drawn CRCA sheet.
  • Fabrication/Sheering with hydraulic machine notching & cut outs are made by typical spring loaded dies & power press brake. Special sections are fabricated outside on CNC machine.
  • CO2 .welding machine is used for smooth joints.
  • Fabricated parts are made burr free & all welding are grinding for smooth finish.
  • As per IS 6005 all sheet steel work are pretreated for:-­

    (a) Decreasing (Alkaline cleaning)
    (b) Water rinsing.
    (c) Rust & scale removing / pickling (acid cleaning).
    (d) Washing in running water.
    (e) Phosphatising.
    (f) Rinsed in hot alkaline water & dried.
    (g) Passivation by chromatisation.


Powder coating of required shade is done thru H.V. electrostatic method at 50-60KV DC & panel is cured in oven at 180°C 70-80 microns minimum powder thickness is maintained.

  • Nickel chromium/zinc plated hardware is used.
  • Good quality synthetic rubber with good aging property compression & oil resistance characteristics is used to make panel dust & vermin proof.
  • Bus-bars insulators of tested type & quantity are designed to meet short circuit capacity desired by client. Aluminium Bus-bar of recommended / calculated cross-section are used for achieving short circuit characteristic .Bus-bar if E91 WP grade. Current density of 1 amp per sq.mm is normally used.
  • All switchgears, boards, feeders are provided with prominent, engraved anodized aluminum identification plate, component are marked with designations for identification all wiring are numbered.
  • After assembly & wiring all live parts are shrouded with Bakelite sheets.

Routine test on panel

Shop testing and pre-dispatch inspection

  • Insulation test by 500/1000V DC megger.
  • High-Voltage test by variable RMS AC volts at 2.5 i is less than v AC volts at 2.5KV AC.
  • Insulation test after H.V.
  • High current test (up to 2000A) for temperature rise on bus-bars by loading transformer.
